About

Tallie Spencer

First and foremost, I’m a storyteller.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, I’ve always been surrounded by a diverse mix of individuals with unique stories to share. It’s always been a passion of mine to produce content that people can relate to and learn from. As a multimedia producer, host, and journalist, I understand the various ways to vividly tell stories through text, video, audio, digital, and social media, and pride myself on being able to thoroughly develop my ideas from conception to execution. Specifically, I’m passionate about music news and have an extensive knowledge of music industry-related news.

I’m the founder and editor of independent digital music publication REMIXD Magazine that highlights emerging artists, upcoming and established talent, and stays up to date on the latest music industry news. My team and I conduct original interviews, build content, and write stories on talented artists. I work closely with artists and brands through RemixdPR, which is a PR and digital marketing company.

I’m the host of Show Some Love Podcast, which is a relationship podcast that brings on guests to discuss love & dating within the entertainment world. Lastly, I have a mentorship program called “Talks With Tallie” which is designed for high school, college, recent grads, or working professionals who are interested in pursuing careers in entertainment, media, and/or journalism.

I have been working professionally as a journalist for 6+ years as an on-camera host, reporter, writer, and producer, and have contributed content to industry news leaders such as Insider, E! News, Billboard, Good Morning America, and ABC News, RapTV, HotNewHipHop, & more.

Most recently, as an on-camera host, I hosted Rolling Loud NYC, Rolling Loud California, and Rolling Loud Miami — interviewing talent and entertaining the livestream audience (more than 40k viewers each day). I’ve also hosted interview content for @Rap & @HotFreestyle.

BACKGROUND

In 2019, I graduated with my master’s degree in journalism from the University of Southern California, where I further developed my passion for producing content about entertainment, culture, pop and lifestyle news. My capstone project was a full multimedia culmination of photos, videos, and text, that told the story of how streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music contributed to the growth and popularity of R&B/Hip-Hop music. I attended Loyola Marymount University during undergrad and majored in Communication Studies and Journalism.
I aspire to produce high quality content that engages, informs, and inspires the communities around me. View some of my work!
